P&W 4301's Last Run in Providence & Worcester Paint

Wednesday, 7-12-17, the northbound NECR 611 crew dropped the 4301 in Brattleboro, VT to be used on the southbound the next day since they wouldn't have enough power without it. In this set of photos, it is seen leading for it's last time ever in P&W livery, before getting the Genesee & Wyoming's "Candy Corn" orange, yellow, and black dip.

NECR 610x 12-26-15

The day after Christmas, NECR ran an extra from Willimantic to New London, then back up to Palmer, the typical 610. NECR hardly ever operates weekends, but did Saturday because they did not operate Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. I was able to bike out to catch them in Franklin and Yantic southbound and northbound. Enjoy!

610 runs light engines south to fetch a car from UBS Lumber in New London, CT.

Return Trip with lone boxcar from UBS Lumber.

Now coupled back up to their train that was dropped on the Yantic Runaround in Franklin, 610 works the KofKoff grain mill in Franklin, CT.
